Alexandru Czimbor

Alexandru Czimbor is a novelist born and raised in Transylvania, Romania during the oppressive communist regime of Nicolae CeauČ™escu. He has lived in the United States since 2001 and spends his summers in Europe. Alexandru taught at a Romanian university, worked in the software industry, and has been an executive since 2011. He has a master's degree in computer science and studied at UTCN Cluj-Napoca and ETH Zürich. When he is not working or writing, Alexandru plays guitar, reads, and avidly listens to podcasts.

His deep interest in the intricacies of the human mind, consciousness, history, politics, and artificial intelligence inspires his speculative fiction, such as the highly praised novels "The Soul Machines" and "Sentience Hazard".

His writing has garnered several prestigious distinctions, including the Writer's Digest, Feathered Quill, Chanticleer, and others. These accolades recognize his thought-provoking explorations of how human nature, political systems, and technology influence society.
